I’m Tracey, the creator of this blog, and I’m so happy to share all things travel with you. This space was born out of my dreams and the shared aspirations of midlife adults like you and me—those of us who’ve spent decades working hard and are now ready (or almost ready!) to embrace the joy of travel, whether for relaxation, adventure, or simply new experiences.

Whether you’re retired, still working your 9-5, or running your own business, I believe we all deserve to explore, recharge, and create unforgettable memories. For me, this blog is my personal bucket list of places I can’t wait to visit once I retire from my corporate job. But it’s also a resource and inspiration for anyone in midlife who’s looking to make the most of their travel opportunities, no matter where you are in your journey.

At 56, I’m embracing something entirely new while still juggling my 9-5 job. Like many of you, I’m dreaming of the day I can retire and hit the road with my husband and our two senior rescue dogs, our beloved fur babies. These boys have brought so much joy to our lives, and we’re determined to create more quality time and unforgettable adventures with them while we can.

I’ll admit, stepping into this new chapter has been a leap outside my comfort zone. After a 30+ year career in commercial property management, I’m trading spreadsheets for scenic routes and boardrooms for blog posts. Oh, and I’m a bit camera-shy (working on that!), but I’m excited to explore this digital world and connect with all of you.

So far, this journey has been an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to share a ton of travel resources, destination guides, and tips to help you plan your own adventures. Whether you’re dreaming of a weekend getaway or a cross-country road trip, I’m here to inspire and guide you every step of the way.
